Our CareCompanionstm are made up of people from all walks of life and all levels of experience in the care industry. From the Office Staff to the CareCompanionstm our passion is to care.


Our CareCompanionstm are carefully selected for their personalities as much as their skills in caring. Every CareCompaniontm is matched to an individual client using likes, interests, preferences, shared local community knowledge and connections. Our aim is to foster a genuine connection between the client and the CareCompaniontm; a friend, a confidante and a continued advocate.

We spend a great deal of time getting to know each CareCompaniontm and only select the ones who we feel can offer that warm-hearted, kind and nurturing approach. We value reliability, respectful communications and empowering attitudes in our care team.

Supported by Nurses

We employ a full scope of state registered nurses who are available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to guide and support our CareCompanions in the delivery of your care.

Our nurses bring extensive clinical knowledge, professional expertise and many years of experience to the table.

They provide mentorship, training and support to our care and dementia companions and play a vital role in overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation and continual review of the Care and companionship provided to you.

The ShineCare Academy

We provide training for all CareCompanionstm before they are matched with any client and then we continually refresh their training on a regular basis to make sure they remain fully skilled and able.

    Recruitment Process

    Every CareCompaniontm goes through a thorough recruitment process that's designed to determine that they are the right fit for us.

    DBS Background Check

    All our CareCompanionstm are checked for a criminal record and background checks to ensure all the information they have provided is correct.


    Every client has specific wants, needs and requires a unique plan of care. We train to develop specific skills to enable us to care for numerous conditions.


    Our CareCompanionstm are experience carers who offer our customers the best possible levels of care.

    Our academy provides our carers with comprehensive ongoing training to ensure that the services that they deliver are of the highest quality.
